Accessibility statement
Last reviewed May 15, 2026
Interventions With Love is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Families in crisis come from every walk of life, and the people most affected by addiction often face additional accessibility barriers, sensory, cognitive, motor, and emotional. We take that seriously.
Standards we work toward
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities and more usable for everyone.
What we've done so far
- Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy on every page
- Descriptive alt text on all content images; decorative images marked as such
- A visible "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users at the top of every page
- Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA for body text and interactive elements
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive controls
- Forms with associated labels and clear error messages
- Text that resizes cleanly up to 200% without loss of content or function
- Phone numbers offered as
tel:links so screen-reader and mobile users can dial directly
Known limitations
We're honest about where we still have work to do:
- Some legacy blog images may have generic alt text; we are reviewing the full archive.
- Embedded third-party content (scheduling widget, video) follows the accessibility practices of those providers, which may not always match our internal standards.
- We have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit. One is planned.
