Interventions With Love is a family-centered practice dedicated to helping families navigate addiction, mental health challenges, eating disorders, and other complex life transitions. When one person in a family is struggling, the entire system is affected. My work focuses on helping families understand what they're facing, strengthen relationships, and create practical paths forward.

My name is Gianna Yunker, and I founded Interventions With Love to help families find clarity during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. As a Family Systems Specialist, Intervention Professional, and Wellness and Recovery Coach, I work alongside individuals, parents, partners, and loved ones to help them make sense of complex situations, navigate difficult decisions, and move toward healthier patterns within the family system.

Through family systems work, interventions, coaching, case management, and ongoing recovery support, I help families move from confusion and crisis toward greater stability, connection, and hope. Every family's situation is different, and my role is to provide steady guidance, thoughtful planning, and compassionate accountability as you navigate the path forward.

Recovery rarely happens in isolation. Lasting change requires support and shifts across the entire family system.

A different idea of rock bottom

The "controlled bottom."

An outdated myth says someone has to hit rock bottom before accepting help. We don't believe that.

There is a common misconception that a professional interventionist's role is simply to deliver a strong or impassioned plea. In reality, the work goes far beyond that. A skilled interventionist helps the family change habits, establish healthy boundaries, and create accountability, relieving them from the impossible burden of deciding whether to cut their loved one off.

With the support of a professional, family and friends can elevate their loved one's bottom, helping them recognize the need for change before reaching a devastating low.

By seeking the guidance of a certified, experienced interventionist, families gain the perspective of someone who is not emotionally entangled in family dynamics. That gives peace of mind: their loved one is in capable, compassionate hands, and the family can focus on healing together.

Families Share Their Experience

Families often reach out when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure what to do next. These stories reflect the support, guidance, and partnership they found along the way.

  1. For many years now my family has been dealing with the unpleasant fear that our son has a drinking problem. How exactly do you go about confronting a son who is of adult age with your concerns and more important, how do you go about getting him the help he so desperately needs?

  2. Gianna Yunker has been my lifeline through this journey with my loved one. She has been our mediator and family support system.

  3. My sister found Gianna, and I was initially hesitant to go the route of paying an interventionist—solely because I didn’t feel our loved one would respond well to the idea of being confronted about their drinking. But I followed her lead, and I’ve already said to a few people that Gianna was worth her weight in gold.

  4. I cannot speak highly enough of Gianna and the miracles she facilitated for my family.

  5. We are so happy that Gianna was able to assist our family with the intervention process.
