For clinicians and treatment teams

When the family system becomes the missing piece.

Outstanding clinical care can only go so far when the family system surrounding a client continues to reinforce crisis, confusion, or unhealthy patterns. That's where our work begins.

Interventions With Love partners with therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, treatment programs, and other behavioral health professionals to provide specialized family systems coaching, intervention services, treatment placement, and ongoing care coordination that complements clinical treatment, not replaces it.

Our goal is simple: to help families become part of the recovery process rather than an unintended barrier to it.

This page is for you if…

  • You're treating a client whose progress is being significantly impacted by family dynamics.
  • A client's family is asking for guidance that extends beyond the scope of your clinical work.
  • You recognize that a structured intervention may be appropriate and want a trusted referral partner.
  • You're looking for specialized support around eating disorders, complex mental health, cannabis-induced psychosis, or dual diagnosis.
  • You want a colleague who values collaboration, communication, and coordinated care.
  • You're seeking ongoing support for families before admission, during treatment, and after discharge.

A Collaborative Partnership

We believe the best outcomes happen when professionals work together.

Our role is not to replace therapy, psychiatry, medical care, case management, or treatment programs. Instead, we provide specialized services that complement the clinical work already taking place by focusing on the family system, intervention planning, treatment navigation, and long-term recovery support.

With appropriate releases of information, we maintain open communication, coordinate care, and share relevant updates while respecting professional boundaries and each provider's unique role.

The goal is always the same: creating a more unified treatment experience for the client and their family.

What We Provide

Depending on the family's needs, referrals may include Family Systems Coaching, Intervention Services, Treatment Placement, Wrap-Around Care Coordination, Recovery Coaching, Life & Wellness Coaching, Soberlink Monitoring, and Family Education and Consultation.

Our work is individualized because no two families and no two treatment plans are exactly alike.

Areas of Specialized Expertise

While we work across a broad range of behavioral health concerns, clinicians frequently refer families navigating addiction and substance use disorders; eating disorders; cannabis use disorder and cannabis-induced psychosis; and complex mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, severe depression, and dual diagnosis.

We also support families navigating conflict surrounding treatment engagement and recovery, young adult and family transitions, and older adults with addiction, mental health concerns, and increasing medical complexity.

How We Work With Referring Professionals

Most referrals begin with a consultation to discuss the family's situation, determine whether our services are an appropriate fit, and identify how we can best support the existing treatment plan.

Some referrals involve only family systems coaching. Others progress to intervention services, treatment placement, or ongoing wrap-around support. Throughout the process, we remain committed to collaboration, timely communication, and respecting the expertise of every professional involved.

We are careful not to duplicate services already being provided. Instead, we focus on the areas where family systems work can strengthen clinical outcomes and improve long-term recovery.

Continuing Education & Professional Consultation

In addition to working directly with families, Gianna provides professional education, case consultation, and training for behavioral health organizations, treatment programs, healthcare providers, and clinical teams interested in strengthening their understanding of family systems, intervention, and recovery support.

If you're interested in consultation on a challenging case, training for your organization, or future educational opportunities, we'd welcome the conversation.

Common Questions Clinicians Ask

Do you replace family therapy? No. Family systems coaching and family therapy serve different purposes. Therapy often focuses on clinical treatment and relational healing. Our work is educational, action-oriented, and centered on helping families change patterns, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and support recovery in everyday life.

Will you communicate with the treatment team? Absolutely, when appropriate releases are in place. Collaboration is an important part of our work, and we value clear, timely communication with referring professionals throughout the engagement.

When should I refer a family? Often earlier than you think. Many families benefit from support long before an intervention becomes necessary. Family systems coaching can help strengthen the family's response, improve communication, and create healthier patterns that support your client's treatment goals.

Do you only work with addiction? No. We also work extensively with eating disorders, complex mental health conditions, cannabis-induced psychosis, dual diagnosis, and families navigating significant life transitions related to behavioral health.

Call when the family system is the part that needs help.

Consultation calls are free and untimed. We'll talk through the case, agree whether a referral makes sense, and, if it does, we take it from there with appropriate releases and ongoing communication back to you.
