Serving families across Ohio

Family intervention and recovery support across Ohio.

Our practice is based in Cincinnati, and we work with families throughout Ohio — in person where it makes sense, and remotely everywhere else. Wherever you are in the state, the first conversation is the same: we listen to what's happening and tell you honestly what we think will help.

Ohio families have lived through one of the hardest stretches of the addiction crisis in the country. If you're watching someone you love struggle, you are not the first family on your street to face this, and you don't have to navigate it alone.

Where we work in Ohio

Our home base is downtown Cincinnati, which puts us close to families across the southwest of the state and the Northern Kentucky metro. We regularly travel for in-person interventions and family meetings, and we work remotely with families in Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Akron, Toledo, and the smaller communities in between.

For most families, the early work — assessment, planning, coaching — happens by phone and video. When an in-person intervention is the right call, we come to you and prepare everyone in the room beforehand so the day itself feels steady rather than chaotic.

The Ohio families we hear from

Ohio has been among the states hardest hit by opioids and, more recently, by fentanyl and stimulants. That reality shapes the calls we get: a parent in the suburbs who has quietly been covering rent for years, an adult child worried about a parent's drinking, a spouse who no longer knows what is safe to say.

What these families share isn't a single substance or story — it's the exhaustion of trying everything and the fear that doing the wrong thing could make it worse. Our work starts by helping you sort what actually helps from what only keeps the situation stuck.

How an Ohio intervention comes together

We begin with a complimentary consultation to understand your family system, the level of risk, and what's been tried. From there we build a plan — often starting with family systems coaching, and moving to a structured intervention when safety or repeated refusals make immediate action necessary.

When treatment is the goal, we help you find the right Ohio or out-of-state program rather than the first available bed, coordinate logistics, and stay with the family through the handoff. Recovery rarely follows a straight line, and we plan for that from day one.

Support that continues after the intervention

An intervention is a beginning, not an ending. Ohio families often continue with recovery coaching for their loved one and ongoing coaching for themselves, so the changes made under pressure can hold once everyday life resumes.

We also help coordinate wrap-around case management — connecting treatment, therapy, monitoring, and family support into one plan instead of a dozen disconnected appointments.

If your family is in Ohio, let's talk.

The first conversation is free and confidential. We'll tell you honestly whether an intervention is the right next step — and if it isn't, what is.
