Treatment Placement
Thoughtful guidance to help individuals and families navigate treatment options and find the right level of care, provider, or program for their unique situation.
What to Expect
Finding the right treatment program can feel overwhelming. Families are often trying to make important decisions quickly while sorting through conflicting information, insurance questions, clinical recommendations, and the emotional weight of the situation itself.
We help families cut through the noise and identify treatment options that genuinely fit their loved one's needs.
Our recommendations are informed by years of experience, relationships with treatment providers across the country, firsthand knowledge of many programs, and a deep understanding of addiction, mental health, eating disorders, and family systems. We regularly travel throughout the country visiting treatment centers, walking the grounds, meeting with clinical teams, seeing where clients will live, and asking the hard questions that families often do not know to ask. This firsthand knowledge allows us to provide guidance based on more than marketing materials or admissions conversations.
As an independent private practice, we have no allegiance to any treatment program. Our recommendations are not driven by referral arrangements or quotas. They are guided by a careful understanding of your loved one's clinical needs, family dynamics, history, strengths, challenges, and recovery goals.
Choosing the wrong program can unintentionally create a revolving door of treatment. When important underlying issues are missed or inadequately addressed, the likelihood of relapse, recurrence, or repeated treatment episodes often remains high. For example, treating substance use without addressing significant trauma may leave core drivers of the behavior untouched. Similarly, treating depression without understanding patterns of self-medication, self-harm, or co-occurring mental health concerns may result in incomplete care. Effective treatment requires looking at the whole person, not just the most visible symptom.
We consider the full picture, including clinical needs, family dynamics, level of care, location, insurance, financial considerations, and long-term recovery goals. Rather than presenting dozens of options, we help families understand the most appropriate choices, navigate admissions, and coordinate next steps with confidence.
